Everything you need to know before booking
Our simple, easy, and trusted three step method to removing face paint is as follows:
- Apply liquid face soap directly onto dry paint, and rub in circles to dissolve the paint.
- Using a clean damp flannel, gently wipe the soapy mix away from eyes and remove as much as possible.
- Rinse flannel and repeat wiping to remove any residual paint.
Never use baby wipes. They are too harsh and can make removal even harder.
Some strong coloured paints might stain some skin, even with our magic method. They can be removed by applying a little oil cleanser (our favourite is coconut oil), leave it to sit for a minute, and then wash away with soap and water.
We only use the highest quality professional brands of face paints and biodegradable glitter. Our preferred brands are Superstar, Kryolan Aquacolour, Fusion Body Art, and Diamond FX.
All the brands we use meet EU cosmetic regulations and are applied according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
If you are concerned about skin sensitivity, please request a patch test and we will be happy to accommodate this.
Absolutely! Please tell us your event theme when booking and request a custom design menu.
However you may find for children’s parties that your guests may not always want to pick a themed design, so a small selection of themed designs alongside our regular choices is our recommendation.
Our artists can paint between 10 full faces and 20 fast faces per hour.
If you are unsure which service is right for your event, don’t hesitate to ask via our enquiry form and we will be happy to advise you.
We recommend booking 2–3 months in advance for birthday parties.
For events we recommend 3–6 months booking in advance.
Our diary is open on a first come, first served basis and dates cannot be held without the payment of your booking fee. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
Unfortunately not for most events. We are an entertainment service available to book by the hour.
If you wish to have a face painter or our team attend your event, we recommend you pay our hourly rate and provide free face painting as part of your entertainment, or choose to charge your attendees to recoup costs and fundraise.
For Charity and School events we recommend finding a local business sponsor to cover our fee, which provides them with the chance to support your event. Your organisation can then choose to charge a small fee for fundraising or provide the face painting for free.
Booking is fast and easy!
- Complete our booking request form and choose the party package or service you require.
- We will confirm our availability by email and send you payment details for your non-refundable booking fee.
- When your booking fee has been paid, we will email you to confirm your booking.
All bookings must be paid by bank transfer. We do not accept payment by PayPal or cash.
